Volunteers

Arizona Dream Catchers is operated with 100% volunteerism. Instructors are certified through North American Riding For The Handicapped Association, Certified Horseman Association and Special Olympics International. The instructors work closely with physical and occupational therapists as well as supervise and train over fifty volunteers each riding season. Through our dedicated instructors and volunteers students gain a feeling of accomplishment and pride.

Volunteers can serve in a variety of ways:

  • Assist with riding lessons*
  • Help organize and run fundraising activities
  • Assist in maintenance of facilities
  • Assist in participation of community events such as the Lost Dutchman Days parade

All volunteers must successfully complete four hours of comprehensive training prior to working with our riders.
