Summer Camp

During summer of 2007, Dream Catchers Camp provided a unique experience to over 185 campers, over 4 one week sessions.  Arizona Special Olympics provided camperships (scholarships) for 40 of the riders. The riders experienced daily lessons in the arena,  on a trail, working with cattle, equitation, and many horse related activities.  In addition, campers also experienced arts and crafts, hay rides, bon fires, recreation, swimming, cookouts, and most importantly social interaction.  This is a one of a kind camping experience focusing on the unified model to enhance independ living.
